The Town of Fountain Hills announced it will not renew its 25-year-old lease with the River of Time Museum.
On Tuesday, April 28, the town formally submitted a letter to the museum’s Board of Directors detailing its decision. The current agreement with the town-owned facility was set to expire in August, though the town proposed a one-year extension to allow for further discussions. Under the terms the contract will expire after Dec. 31, 2026 unless a new contract can be reached, a press release states.
Mary Endorf, president of the museum’s board of directors, reiterated a desire to find a path forward.
