Town offers summer activities

The Town of Fountain Hills Community Services continues to provide opportunities for residents to get out and get active with various programs scheduled for the coming weeks.

Toddlers
The Town is now working with Skyline Athletes to provide athletic activities for parents and their toddlers.
Parent-Tot soccer classes will be offered July 14 to Aug. 18. Courses will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. for both sessions, which are open to parents and youngsters from 18 months to three years of age.
Cost for this course is $45 and classes will be hosted out of the Community Center.
T-ball is another big draw, teaching youngsters the fundamentals of the sport. Classes will be on Mondays through July 15, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.
Finally, a parent-tot multi-sport class will cover soccer, basketball, football and more. This class will be offered from July 9 to Aug. 6. Both sessions will run from 9:30 to 10 a.m. and are open to participants 18 months to three years. The cost to participate is 45 and classes will be hosted out of the Community Center.
Yoga
Multiple yoga classes are being offered in the coming months.
Gentle balancing yoga, yoga for cyclists, Vinyasa Power Flow Yoga, Muscle Training and Manic Monday Muscle Conditioning are all being offered through August.
All Yoga classes will be hosted out of TruFit Studio.

Basketball
A basketball shootout camp for players six to 18 is coming to Fountain Hills. The camp will focus on skills and technique and is being headed up by Advantage Basketball Camp.
Classes will be broken into two sessions. The first is Monday through Wednesday, July 25-27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $175.
The second camp is Monday through Friday, July 25-29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $245.
