The Town of Fountain Hills is organizing its annual day of neighbors helping neighbors on Saturday, Oct. 28.
More than 300 volunteers are expected to participate in Make a Difference Day by providing deep cleaning in kitchens, organizing garages, building wheelchair ramps, providing much-needed landscaping and removal of debris and clutter at the homes of some of our most vulnerable local residents.
Serving residents who are in need of special care, support, or protection because of age, disabilities, financial hardship, or other issues that leave them susceptible to harm is what the 9th Annual Make a Difference Day is all about.

Town of Fountain Hills Volunteer Coordinator Heather Ware is seeking help to reach out and identify those residents in need – residents who will want assistance on Make a Difference Day.
There may be someone at church, school, or in the neighborhood who would benefit from the time and labor given by volunteers. Invite them to participate. There are no fees involved.
“Our community is known as the ‘small town with a big heart;’ please take the time to find someone for whom we can make a difference in their lives,” Ware said.
Anyone who would like to be a recipient on MaDD, contact Heather Ware, MaDD Coordinator, at hware@fh.az.gov.
“Volunteers are needed also,” Ware said. “Register to volunteer for Make a Difference Day online – fh.az.gov/madd.
“Show you care through volunteer service on Fountain Hills Make a Difference Day, October 28.”
