Town tourism staff receives award

The Arizona Office of Tourism has recognized the Town of Fountain Hills tourism staff with the award for Outstanding Marketing Campaign for 2017.

On July 20, Tourism Division staff Rachael Goodwin and Grace Rodman-Guetter represented the Town at the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism where the Arizona Office of Tourism honored the Town as the 2017 Outstanding Marketing Campaign Award for its “Get Out of the Valley and into the Hills!” campaign.

Marketing for the town encompassed advertisements geared toward visiting audiences attending the Waste Management Open, Spring Training games and Final Four game.

The Arizona Office of Tourism has recognized the Town of Fountain Hills tourism staff with the award for Outstanding Marketing Campaign for 2017.

On July 20, Tourism Division staff Rachael Goodwin and Grace Rodman-Guetter represented the Town at the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism where the Arizona Office of Tourism honored the Town as the 2017 Outstanding Marketing Campaign Award for its “Get Out of the Valley and into the Hills!” campaign.

Marketing for the town encompassed advertisements geared toward visiting audiences attending the Waste Management Open, Spring Training games and Final Four game.

The campaign encouraged visitors to Arizona for these major events to visit Fountain Hills during the high traffic visitor season. Staff will present the award to council in September.
