The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Nov. 27 to Dec. 2.
Thursday Nov. 27
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a vehicle failed to yield while making a left turn and struck another vehicle. Deputies initiated DUI investigations on both drivers. Both drivers were transported for medical treatment and both vehicles were towed.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Nov. 27 to Dec. 2.
Thursday Nov. 27
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a vehicle failed to yield while making a left turn and struck another vehicle. Deputies initiated DUI investigations on both drivers. Both drivers were transported for medical treatment and both vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Parkview Ave where it was reported a subject at a bar brandished a firearm after an argument. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.
Friday, Nov. 28
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of N. Desert Vista where it was reported an unknown subject threatened the complainant after they asked the subject to put their dog on a leash.
*Deputies responded to Firerock Country Club Dr. and Shea Blvd where it was reported a single-vehicle traffic collision occurred after a subject driving a golf cart struck a landscaping boulder. Deputies initiated a DUI investigation after contacting the driver. The driver was transported to the hospital for medical care, the vehicle was towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block E. Shea Blvd for a reported a single vehicle private property collision occurred after a driver accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake and struck the wall of a building. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed.
Saturday Nov. 29
*Deputies responded to Palisades Blvd. and Almont Dr. where a traffic collision was reported after a vehicle made an unsafe lane change and sideswiped another vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of E. Sonora Crest Dr. for a reported domestic violence assault incident. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to 12000 N. Saguaro Blvd where it was reported that an unknown subject falsely represented themselves as a business vendor as part of a fraudulent scheme and received a payment of approximately $3,600 under false pretext.
Monday, Dec. 1
*Deputies responded to Shea Blvd. and Arista Ln. where a driver was stopped for criminal speed (81 in a 50). The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to Shea Blvd. and Arista Ln. where a driver was stopped for criminal speed (89 in a 50). The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to Shea Blvd. and Monterey Dr. for a subject who was passed out in a running vehicle. Deputies initiated a DUI investigation. The driver was issued a criminal citation for DUI, the vehicle was towed.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of E. Shea Blvd. for a reported private property hit-and-run collision occurred after a vehicle backed into an unoccupied parked vehicle in a business parking lot. The vehicle then fled the area without exchanging information or making a police report. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
Tuesday, Dec. 2
*Deputies responded to Shea Blvd. and Arista Ln. where a driver was stopped for criminal speed (75 in a 50). The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of N. Sunrise Circle where it was reported an unknown subject fraudulently accessed the victim’s bank account and removed approximately $1,200.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards where a vehicle was stopped for expired registration. A records check revealed the driver’s license was suspended, and the driver had an active misdemeanor warrant out of Scottsdale. The driver was issued a criminal citation for driving on a suspended license and was subsequently turned over to Scottsdale PD and booked into jail on the warrant.
