Fountain Hills Town Council has updated its cooperative purchase agreement with Roadsafe Traffic Systems to cover increases in costs for traffic safety services.
Roadsafe provides temporary traffic control devices for construction work and special events in Fountain Hills.
“The town’s current contract with (Roadsafe), approved by the council in 2023 in the annual amount of $100,000, has reached it maximum expenditure limit,” Public Works Director Justin Weldy told the council in a staff memo. “Due to rising costs for labor, equipment rental, delivery, installation and pick up services, staff recommends approval of a new contract with (Roadsafe) in the annual amount of $150,000.”
