I must disclose that I am a resident of the Valley but not of Fountain Hills. Thus, I don’t have a horse in your race. By the way, I am not a conservative conspiracy devotee either.
But, I have read a couple of letters that ridicule Dina Galassini for her concerns about a network of walking trails in Fountain Hills.

The subjects that Ms. Galassini speaks of are, in fact, facts which are not even hidden. There is a wealth of information verifying these subjects published by the UN itself as well as a host of other places in very plain sight (including throughout our federal government and throughout the land-planning industry).
All you have to do is look as Ms. Galassini apparently has, but your letter-writers apparently haven’t. I’m sure that both your letter-writers and Ms. Galassini care very much about your community, but they should be careful whose intelligence they are attempting to insult as, in the eyes of an informed person, it is their own.
On another subject mentioned by a letter-writer who admires the trails, etc. in Amsterdam and equates that to your proposed trails…
I have been there a number of times, rode the same trains, busses and bikes and visited the same museum as the letter-writer. That person saw the experience through the eyes of a tourist, but it is not the same romantic experience for an everyday resident.
If your letter-writer would like to see that required lifestyle brought to Fountain Hills, she is free to ask for that but please don’t bring it to my home.
