On Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 p.m., the town council will consider final approval of the approximately 180-bed, 75-employee senior citizen home located on the vacant lot across from McDonald’s, which is zoned for commercial use.
Trevino Drive is already a fast, busy, congested, but pretty residential street. It is a nightmare at the corner of Trevino and Saguaro. People hustle into McDonald’s, Sr. Taco, etc., plus the most crowded gas station in Fountain Hills.
Please attend this upcoming town council meeting so that you can see the architect’s renderings of the plain building (flat sides and flush windows, no appealing character at all, looks like a box that will be three stories high in places and will block the views of everyone) for yourself.

We need to hear your thoughts. Maybe the developers will be required to widen Trevino, but what about sidewalks? What about the plain, ugly building that we will have to live with?
Please come to provide your feelings on what type of a building belongs in Fountain Hills on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 p.m. at our Town Hall. See you there.
