Tropical storm Rachel made its way inland, bringing with it plenty of rain and cooler temperatures over the weekend and into this week.
The National Weather Service forecasts a 50% chance of rain throughout Monday during the day in Fountain Hills , with chances increasing to 70% in the evening.
Rain chances will last into Tuesday with 40% during the day as the last of the system pushes through the Valley. Daytime temperatures will remain pleasant through the week with a high of 75 Wednesday and mid-80s Thursday and Friday with wind up to 10-15 mph, the NWS reports.
