Residents of Fountain Hills, thank you for signing my petition to run for town council. Thank you for listening to my suggestions on how to solve the town’s fiscal problems and restore faith in our local government.

It was a great experience running for town council. Knocking on doors was a huge step out of my comfort zone. By doing that, I got to meet a lot of people whom I would have never had the chance to meet. I’m humbled that so many voted for me – an unknown.

Although I did not convince a majority, I’m super excited that a plurality voted for David Spelich. He is going to be a marvelous representative for our town. Likewise, I’d like to congratulate Mr. Magazine and Mr. Scharnow on their win. I’d also like to thank Mrs. Grzybowski and Gerry Friedel (my friend) for their contributions in the race, as well as Mayor-elect Ginny Dickey for the kindness she showed me at the conclusion of our Chamber debate.

This election for town council was truly positive not only for myself, but for all of us.

A new chapter for Fountain Hills is commencing under fresh stewardship. Best wishes to our new council members and mayor.
