The letter titled “Parade Politics” from Sen. John Kavanagh is simply inappropriate and requires a response. His letter is rude and divisive.
This a letter written by someone who was elected by the voters to represent all of the people. He has clearly forgotten that he was elected to represent everyone in his district, not just the ones who think like him.
Once the campaign and divisive rhetoric are done, a conscientious and mature politician must put all of the grand-standing behind him and adopt a cooperative position to do the work of the people, all of the people. The fact that he took time to write this divisive letter says something very disturbing about the way he thinks and represents our district.

The division in our government and even in the population needs to be healed, not further harmed, and politicians on both sides of the isle must be held accountable for this type of behavior.
I am disappointed in Senator John Kavanagh and think the one wearing the turkey outfit next year should be him.
