This year the top three finishers in each of the age divisions will receive trophies with everyone vying for the coveted Golden Turkey trophy. Age divisions will be broken down by 10-year age increments.
One-mile fitness walk participants will receive Turkey Trot ribbons.

Kick start Thanksgiving Day with a good run around downtown in Fountain Hills.
Join the community tradition and participate in the 26th Annual Turkey Trot in Fountain Hills on Thanksgiving morning. This year the top three finishers in each of the age divisions will receive trophies with everyone vying for the coveted Golden Turkey trophy. Age divisions will be broken down by 10-year age increments.
One-mile fitness walk participants will receive Turkey Trot ribbons.
The highly prized Turkey Trot T-shirts will be given to all who register early, and will be available on a first come basis to those registering later.
For those registering on the morning of the race the cost will be $35 per runner for the 5K, $20 for those 12 and under. The one-mile fitness walk is $20 per walker.
On-site registration opens at 5:45 a.m. on race day. Check in for all runners begins at 6 a.m., at the Community Center. Late registration closes at 6:45 a.m.
The race begins at 7:30 a.m., with awards at 8:30 a.m.
For everyone’s safety, it is requested that no dogs be brought to the race.
Don’t forget to hang around for the Thanksgiving Day Parade beginning at 9 a.m. along Saguaro Boulevard.
