Firefighters help the passenger who was involved in a collision at Saguaro and Shea boulevards Friday afternoon.
Two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance early Friday afternoon following a collision at Saguaro and Shea boulevards.
What was an apparent rear-end collision caused extensive damage to two pick-up trucks. Both vehicles were eastbound, and the front vehicle was hit with enough force to send it through the intersection and into the westbound lanes of Saguaro.
The two people in the front vehicle were treated at the scene by fire department medics and taken in separate ambulances to the hospital.
