Everyone attending is encouraged to wear their uniforms or lapel pins, hats, etc.
Sheila Nichols, who is organizing the event, hopes everyone who lived through the age of “coffee, tea or me” will attend for a terrific evening of fun, nostalgia and a great show.
Seating for this event is limited. Tickets for that evening only, while free, should be reserved by calling 480-837-9661, ext. 3. Donations will be gladly accepted at the event.
“Boeing, Boeing:” What seems to be the ultimate fantasy bachelor life, with intricately scheduled gorgeous flight attendants, turns out to be a dizzyingly hilarious ride for one man who finds out that one woman is all he can handle.
The debonair Bernard, an architect living in Paris, is juggling relationships with three vivacious flight attendants – each of whom believes she is his only girl.
All goes well until his friend Robert arrives for a visit, and the airlines decide to change their schedules. Chaos and fun take off as Bernard’s clever plans unravel.
“Boeing, Boeing” is produced by Noel Irick and directed by Peter J. Hill. The production features Terry Gadaire, Scott Hyder, Melissa Fiore, Amy Serafin, Heidi Carpenter and Donna Kaufman.
“Boeing, Boeing” will play April 5-21. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
A reception will be held on opening night for all those attending that evening, featuring free appetizers, wine and soft drinks. Individual tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children 17 and under. Seniors receive a $5 discount on Thursday performances. Group rates and student rush discounts are available. Adult humor is featured in the play.
All performances are at Fountain Hills Theater on its Mainstage at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. Tickets are available through the Theater Box Office at (480) 837-9661, ext. 3. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday or visit its website at www.fhtaz.org.
