Complimentary hot dogs, beverages and desserts will be served from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.
Fountain Hills Christian Ministerial Association is the program sponsor.
Mayor Linda Kavanagh will read the 2018 Town Day of Prayer Proclamation.
Master of ceremonies Pastor Bobby Brewer of North Chapel will direct participants in small prayer groups.
Boy Scout Troop 343 will present the colors and lead the participants in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Debbie Fisher will sing the National Anthem. Guests will participate in community singing.
The National NDOP states, “The people of America love our nation. They realize our nation is broken and in trouble. Most also realize it will take some kind of divine intervention to see our nation go forward together positively.
The NDOP can provide the way to connect with one another in a positive, unifying way to pray for America. It is a day where this country can unify over what really matters: praying for America.”
