A Native American Indian woman from Gallup New Mexico told me how our government arrived on their reservation, confiscating their property and undervalued land purchased by others. The tribe feels betrayed. All never reported.
Same as North Dakota Indian lands where our government is taking over tribal lands to run an oil pipeline from that state to Illinois without consulting the tribe; unreported until Indians revolted to stop desecrating their sacred land and waterways, now backed by other tribes.
At first, security guards used pepper spray and guard dogs against demonstrators, escalating into tear gas and water hoses in freezing temperatures, plus incarcerating 150 or more. Spotty TV news shows government is squashing information. Private land ownership is meaningless when taken by force, yet Keystone pipeline partly completed is held up. Why?

Another instance is 53 cattle ranchers in Nevada who were harassed and tormented until they relinquished their rights, selling their cattle and moving except for one holdout. The Bureau of Land Management overlooked Nevada and the U.S. Constitution, while laws used mercenary cowboys in helicopters to shoot and kill bulls and separate calves from their mothers, destroying rancher’s livelihood. Then, father and his four sons are jailed indefinitely, leaving women stranded to carry on ranch.
All this is so a prominent congressman can get richer selling those lands to a foreign country. No TV coverage, yet media had constant coverage of one lion in Africa and one gorilla in a zoo that received outrage from viewers.
How can these people live with themselves destroying families and their livelihood for money and power?
Unreported news is no different than dictator-controlled countries; not in the Land of the Free.
It’s true, it’s time to drain the swamp in Washington.
