Why is our government giving billons to Brazil for oil energy development, while prohibiting America from developing its own oil reserves? Where’s the economics in that?

Why do we give arms to drug cartels and enemy nations, while restricting gun ownership to honest law-abiding American citizens? Where’s the security in that?

There are laws stipulating that breaking the egg of a bald eagle can carry a penalty of up to five years, while the government forces taxpayers to pay to abort viable babies? Where’s the morality in that?

Why is our government giving billons to Brazil for oil energy development, while prohibiting America from developing its own oil reserves? Where’s the economics in that?

Why do we give arms to drug cartels and enemy nations, while restricting gun ownership to honest law-abiding American citizens? Where’s the security in that?

Why does the Attorney General only enforce selected laws? Why does the Judiciary create laws by activist decisions? Where’s the justice in that?

Why do we continue to allow all levels of government to be fiscally irresponsible, while accepting an onerous long-term debt on our children and grandchildren? Where’s the future in that?

Why has our government claimed the power and authority to spy on and/or kill its citizens without due process in violation of the Constitution? Where’s the protection in that?

Why does Congress pass laws containing amendments and preferential spending (pork) clauses that have nothing to do with the original law and is not discussed in public. Where’s the honesty in that?

Are we so bankrupt that civilization no longer has meaning? Are we governed by a rogue government?

Have we forfeited our liberties beyond the point of recovery? Don’t we know in our hearts this is wrong?

When life stops making sense and right seems upside down, then doesn’t each day become little more than an exercise in futility? Where is our self-respect?

Was George Washington correct when he said: “Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness [immorality].”
