Calling all Walmart shoppers! Now you don’t have to drive into Scottsdale to visit your local Walmart. They will be back in December to your park!

Really, this tacky display is an embarrassment to our town. If I wanted to see a gaudy display of “Made in China,” I could go to any Walmart store and see the same thing, sold by minimum wage earners, right here in America.

For those of you uninformed citizens like former Republican Presidential candidates, that hourly wage is $7.25 and no benefits.

I have never shopped at Walmart and I never will. I believe the Walmart stores and their Chinese partnership is the reason for the downfall of the American worker and the rise of the greedy 1 percent of the American population.

Mayor Kavanagh, please do not eavesdrop again on a private conversations regarding dog and pony show promoters. Show a little class and support the American workers not the Chinese workers!

Any more of these displays in vulgarity should be voted on by the citizens of Fountain Hills before they are enacted! Like the Chamber of Commerce Avenue of the Fountain gatherings every year, the citizens and the taxpayers of Fountain Hills have no benefits to show from these gatherings.

Mayor Kavanagh, show me the money.
