The Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) Governing Board voted on Tuesday, June 18, to put the Arroyo Vista and Aspen site properties up for election this November.
The property at 15680 N. Aspen is approximately 19.95 acres and is currently zoned R1-35 single-family residential. The land at 12055 N. Arroyo Vista Drive is approximately 15.71 acres and is zoned R1-18 single-family residential.
Land sale discussions ended in 2022 partially because of the public pushback regarding the land at 15515 E. El Lago Blvd. It is the largest of the three sites, approximately 35.1 acres, and the Governing Board decided not to put the site on the ballot this year.
