The Catholic Charities MANA House is an organization dedicated to veterans helping veterans, especially those experiencing homelessness in the Phoenix area. MANA stands for Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force -- all branches of the U.S. military receiving support from the organization.

According to Legion Commander Bob Putnam, Ogden contacted the local post saying she wished to donate the van on behalf of the organization.

After receiving the van, Post 58 had Pat’s Automotive conduct a safety inspection of the vehicle and make any necessary repairs. The vehicle was then taken to Fountain Hills Detailing where it was cleaned and detailed.

From there, the Post 58 Executive Committee made arrangements with Tamara Bohannan, Vice President for Advancement Development and Philanthropy for Catholic Charities Community Services, the parent organization of MANA House.

Bohannan joined members of the post to receive the keys and transfer the title of the vehicle to her organization on Nov. 23.
