Vernita Borkenhagen, 86, of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2016.
Vernita was born in Waseca, Minn. where she was an only child. After living in Fargo, N.D. for many years with her husband, Richard, they relocated to Arizona in 1985.
Vernita was preceded in death by her husband, and her son, Gary. She is survived by her four remaining children, Brad, Dick, Cathi, and Stacey, along with three daughters-in-law.
Vernita loved and enjoyed her eight grandchildren, and her eight great-grandchildren.
