Veterans Day

Thanks to the Foundation Hills community members who organized such a wonderful Veterans Day salute on a chilly morning at our town lake.

It was tempting to stay home in cozy heat, but I thought about my US infantry father. He served in a foxhole in horrific weather in the German counter offensive in December 1944. So, I could surely tolerate 49 degrees.

The flyovers capping the program were inspiring. Thanks to all vets for preserving our way of life.
