Vicar announces retirement from the Atonement in Fountain Hills

New assistant priest named in preparation for leadership change

The Rev. Ory Schultheis will begin serving as an assistant priest at Atonement, with plans to succeed LesCallett following his retirement.

The Very Rev. John F. LesCallett, vicar of the Anglican Church of the Atonement in Fountain Hills, has announced he will retire in July 2026.

In preparation for the transition, the Rev. Ory Schultheis will begin serving as an assistant priest at Atonement, with plans to succeed LesCallett following his retirement. Through July, Schultheis will assist LesCallett by presiding over Mass and preaching on the first Sunday of each month.
