Villawatkins: Support for Mayor Dickey, a true public servant
The main reason I moved to Fountian Hills is that it is a beautiful and peaceful town. I support Mayor Ginny Dickey to get us through our future. This election is about options. Make this town our pride and joy or attack this town until it burns?
Mayor Dickey stays within our budget to make our town more beautiful, revenue and progress ready. The infrastructure and construction in progress are visible and forward looking. She consults our rules and regulations. She works with our town lawyer, economic development, our town’s manager and town council. Above all else, she works with leadership in our county and surrounding cities that are solutions focused.
Furthermore, I also like our town leadership to abide by the law. No drama, no chaos, no alignment with those who plan to divide us.

To me, she stands above the noise of anything negative. She just keeps on governing within what we have and what we are given. Yes, sometimes we have difficult decisions and she has steered us through the right course. Indeed, a true public servant we deserve. She is the antithesis of what has been happening in this town since 2022; since the toxicity and rot has taken over this beautiful and respectful town.
She has upheld public service beyond that which divides us. Despite low-blow attacks and blames flung her way, she keeps on serving. A far cry from those who only want to serve their own agendas and aspire for other positions in the state legislature.
Lastly, to those who divide us, please serve somewhere else. We don’t need self-serving hidden agendas staining this town.
