The high school volleyball squad pulled off a close win against a tough team from Moon Valley Tuesday night, winning three close games in a row to claim the match. The Falcons bested Moon Valley 27-25 in game one, 25-22 in game two and 25-15 in game three. The girls will be back on the road Thursday evening for a 6 p.m. outing against Flagstaff, then wrap up the regular season with a home match on Saturday, Oct. 26, with a 1 p.m. match versus Blue Ridge.

Volleyball wins, sports continue into the weekend

The high school volleyball squad pulled off a close win against a tough team from Moon Valley Tuesday night, winning three close games in a row to claim the match. The Falcons bested Moon Valley 27-25 in game one, 25-22 in game two and 25-15 in game three. Football
Coming off a loss to Show Low last week, the Falcons look to regain some momentum during the last home game of he regular season this Friday, Oct. 25. The Falcons will host the Globe Tigers with the game set to begin at 7 p.m.
Cross country
The cross country regular season also comes to a close this Saturday s the Falcons prepare to host one final meet. The local squad will welcome visitors to the high school for a race set to begin at 8 a.m. Once again, this race will be hosted out of the high school, not Fountain Park.
