Many of you have probably read recent letters on the wonderful life-saving contributions Fearless Kitty Rescue has made to our local feline friends. From those write-ups, it’s easy to surmise that this rescue is more than just your average CATtery.
The volunteers at Fearless Kitty Rescue are unCATegorically tireless in their efforts. It helps to have two outstanding leaders (Kim Kamins and Paula Hatch) who fearlessly lead the group through situations that might seem hopeless or insurmountable.

They will not be daunted in their efforts to save cats and kittens from CATastrophes or other horrific outcomes due to overpopulation, abandonment or even dire household situations. FKR is the gold standard, leading by example in the charge to promote animal welfare and invoke community pride.
To visit Kittyville is an experience to behold. The cats are healthy and happy, and the facility is immaculate. Nothing brings quite the feeling of joy like the sight of several happily raised CATtails. And the four-legged inhabitants’ communiCATory purrs and trills certainly suggest those kitties are quite content to reside there until they find a permanent home. (After a vigorous bout of play, sometimes a CATnap is in order where dreams of CATnip abound.)
It is our duty to make sure Fearless Kitty Rescue continues to be a CATalyst for change…the end of homeless, neglected or unwanted cats. Voting for FKR as recipient of the $10,000 Republic Services grant is sure to CATapult our town to the forefront of animal rescue. With the necessary funds to accomplish more, FKR will certainly be sitting in the CATbird seat
