Vote for civility and peace in Fountain Hills

OPINION — It’s necessary to dispute the opinion expressed by Shelby Blecker. His April 30 letter is a prime example of why our town is divided.

Blecker disparages three council candidates, claiming at the forum they demonstrated a lack of “how property rights work or how open meeting laws govern.” 

 Then Blecker claims that Mirick might plan to use eminent domain to deal with the empty Park Place lot. She inferred nothing of the kind, instead representing that residents are tired of looking at that empty lot.
