Independents, Democrats and disenfranchised Republicans need to unite and get John Kavanagh out of state politics by voting for Paula Pennypacker for the Arizona Senate.
Pennypacker is a former Republican who became disillusioned with the extreme tone of the current Arizona Republican party. Many of us have heard former Republicans say, “I didn’t leave the Republican Party, the party left me.” Paula gives voters a chance to elect someone who has ties to both parties and will be able to work across the aisle.
We do not want Kavanagh’s failed policies in the State House to transfer to the State Senate. He ignored the voters’ mandate for funding education (apparently, we voters don’t know anything), and now the state is in a big mess with having to come up with over a billion dollars for retroactive payments.

We don’t want someone who created this mess now trying to weasel out of it in the Senate. Kavanagh thinks it’s fine to insert his nose in marriages, women’s control of their own bodies, and even restrooms (so much for limited government!).
Even his fellow Republicans were incensed when he tried to sneak almost a million dollars into the budget at the last minute (without the usual due process) for his cronies in the private prison industry (out-of-state companies) -- so incensed that his fellow Republicans took it out.
Voters need someone who respects and represents them -- not someone like Kavanagh who wants to dictate what we can do and even thinks it’s a good idea to cut education, then give extra money to private prisons.
