Thomas Reski is running for re-election to the Sanitary Board that controls the quality of the reclaimed water in the lake. Then why did Thomas Reski file a complaint with his own Sanitary Board that the spray from the Fountain caused spots on his and his wife’s cars? This caused Ron Huber, the Sanitary Manager, to contact the town threatening to report this to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), which would result in fines. Is Reski working with the town or against it?
In Reski’s letter to the editor, he stated that he did pro bono work for the town. That sounds very magnanimous if he were a concerned, retired citizen but Reski is the President of Quantum Engineering Solutions, a company that, according to their website, has engineers that “have designed, developed and consulted... for various markets, including water/wastewater...systems.”
Was Reski hoping his company would get the contract, and upset that it didn’t?

In Reski’s letter to the editor, he stated that he did pro bono work for the town. That sounds very magnanimous if he were a concerned, retired citizen but Reski is the President of Quantum Engineering Solutions, a company that, according to their website, has engineers that “have designed, developed and consulted... for various markets, including water/wastewater...systems.”
Was Reski hoping his company would get the contract, and upset that it didn’t?
Through an FOIA request, I discovered that Reski sent an email to Grady Miller, Town Manager, stating that “last August my engineering firm analyzed the control system for the Fountain and found it to be obsolete in 1990...We developed a proposal to update the system...Council ignored our recommendation...I am done. I will ask Ron Huber to place this matter on the agenda...to ensure this matter is resolved and the reuse agreement is no longer violated.”
So why am I supporting Tony Finocchio for the Sanitary Board and not Thomas Reski? I am angry about the continuous rate increases without any increase in service. It’s about time we elected someone with integrity who will be responsible to the people and not his own agenda.
Residents will finally have a voice with Tony Finocchio. Vote for Tony for Sanitary Board.
