Please vote for the River of Time Museum so they can receive the grant money being offered by Republic Services so a new exhibit on water can be put in, which will tell the story of water in the Valley emphasizing conservation.
Docents are going to classes on water because there is no more important resource in our state than water. We do not depend on any other resource the way we do with water.
We have been lucky enough that prior Arizonans saw this importance, hence, Lake Powell, our other lakes and our 325 miles of canals.

We have to educate this generation on how important water is to our state, our farmers and to our very livelihood. Arizona’s future depends on how the next generation takes care of this resource. The museum’s water exhibit is designed to show not only our student Museum Time Travelers, but our current Arizonans how, without water, we could not have the Arizona we have now.
For 32 years, I lived two blocks from Lake Erie. Ohio has programs to preserve that lake. It is important to them, even more so should we educate our residents on how important water is in Arizona.
I invite all to come to our museum and learn our history. Did you know that the Phoenix area, including Fountain Hills, was once higher than Flagstaff? You cannot know where you are going until you know where you have been.
Please go to the town’s website fh.az.gov and, on the right of the screen, click on My Republic Rewards. You can register to be part of the program, click community grants, participate and your points will help the museum to put in this very important water exhibit.
