Vote “yes” for the Fountain Hills Unified School District budget override. You are investing in the health of our awesome community and the future of young leaders.

Protect your property values and continue to support our quality Schools. How do I know? I am a parent in this district and a teacher and coach. My family moved here to live and work in this community because we fell in love with this amazing town.

The budget override continues an override that is already in place at 13 percent, increasing to 15 percent. It will help maintain all-day kindergarten. The state only pays for half-day. It will help teacher salaries to become and remain competitive, meaning better staff retention. It will help with more professional development for staff and an ability to bring on additional reading literacy staff.

Still wondering about our schools? Stop in! Come to a sporting event at the high school, take a tour of a campus, talk to someone who works or volunteers with our students. Our schools are amazing. Healthy, vibrant schools attract families and businesses to our community and help keep them here.

If you are an early voter who still has a mail-in ballot, fill in the “yes” arrow and drop it in the mail today. If you are someone who goes to the polls on Election Day, please drive by one of our schools on your way, and complete that yes arrow when you get there. You will not be disappointed!
