Time to face facts. Standing around the water cooler debating or arguing politics at a dinner party or firing off a scathing letter is not repairing our nation/s problems. Hear that? The alarm’s gone off. Time to wake-up!
Now, now, get away from that snooze alarm!
Which of the following national conditions have been resolved to your satisfaction? I mean to the point where you feel you can walk away from any future involvement.
What about, education, energy, immigration, judiciary, national debt, taxes, United Nations, welfare. Folks, these are only a few of the national conditions. We also have to add states, counties and municipalities.
What if I were to say that we’re squandering democracy? Would you think I’m crazy and just ignore me? Would you think I’m overreacting and close me out? Or would you think, on some level anyway, that I had a point but not be moved?
I’m well aware we don’t have a George Washington or Thomas Jefferson to lean on. But we have each other, yes, you and me together. I pray that love of country has not grown cold. I pray that together we are stronger than any enemy.
Warren G. Harding said: “America’s present need is not heroics but healing; not nostrums [unworkable solutions] but normalcy, not revolution but restoration.” Don’t you want to be great again? Let’s restore what we had.
It’s all there, it’s been done before, and we have the blueprint.
We’re at a crossroads. We’re confronted by internal forces that are interfering with our liberties and principles.
And don’t think this battle doesn’t include you. Whether you participate or not, all Americans will end up in the same boat. Don’t you want to keep the self-determination to act and speak freely? Good, grab an oar.
