It brings great sadness to many that our Walgreens store at 16749 E. Shea Blvd will be closing permanently on May 7.
After 11 years, the Shea Blvd. location never quite attained the necessary level of business to continue as an ongoing enterprise.
On behalf of the pharmacy department, as well as the front end employees, we would like to thank all of the Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, and Scottsdale residents who supported our store during its 11-year lifespan.

During this time, many quality relationships were developed that will continue despite the closing of the store. We are sincerely grateful knowing that many of our loyal customers used our pharmacy services since the day we opened.
In fact, many drove several miles out of their way to use the store on Shea Blvd. even though they lived closer to other retail pharmacies. The store’s closing is truly a heart-breaking event for many. We thank you and truly appreciate your loyalty throughout the years.
