Walkway closing for Chinese Festival

The walkway along the western edge of Fountain Lake will be closed beginning Friday, Jan. 24, at 8 a.m.

The closure will allow for the construction and set-up for the Chinese Lantern & Folk Festival taking place in the park from Jan. 31 through Feb. 9. The pathway restrictions will continue through Feb. 13 to allow for dismantling the displays.

Designed and built in China the lanterns were shipped to Fountain Hills where they will be assembled for the festival.
