Warning

At around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, my husband and I were awakened by several very loud knocks on our front door. We turned on the lights, got up and went to the door. No one there.

We suspect that this may have been a burglar testing to see if anyone was at home. When we turned on the lights, he took off. Had no one turned on lights or come to the door, he could have assumed the coast was clear to break in.

We want fellow residents to be aware that there may be burglars operating in Fountain Hills, using this technique.
