Water break closes Sunridge Drive

The northbound lanes of Sunridge Drive are closed between Desert Canyon and Sundown Drive due to a water main break under the roadway.

The 12-inch water pipe failed about 10 p.m. on Monday, flooding the roadway and causing a failure of the asphalt.

The water line was repaired overnight, but water company officials have told town officials it may be the end of the week or early next week before the pavement is removed and replaced so the street can reopen.
