Water question

My family and friends are curious about the water line breakage on Palisades. Most of us come from elsewhere, and a water line breaking before 30-50 years even in tougher climates than Arizona’s is out of the ordinary.

If we’re sounding like we’re placing high expectations on our utility providers, Epcor and Fountain Hills Public Works Department, please educate us. By no means are we the experts, but collectively, quite a few citizens are scratching our heads as to why we are having new lines break.

I can’t quote all of them over the past several years, but there have been enough new line breakages that have us buzzing about the problem.

While you’re at it, feel free to comment on the wildly changing water pressure that many of us experience in various parts of town.
