Priscilla, a new tropical cyclone moving up the coast of Mexico, is expected to pump rain producing moisture into Arizona and the Phoenix area as the weekend approaches.
According to forecasters, this is a very similar weather pattern to one that hit the area two weeks ago, leaving between one to three inches of rainfall in Fountain Hills and causing deadly flooding in the City of Globe, east of the Valley.
Meteorologists are watching a low-pressure system moving down along the west coast that is expected to funnel the tropical storm moisture into the state.
