Weather service raises red flag for Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for much of Arizona for Wednesday, April 15, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The warning includes the Phoenix area and Fountain Hills.

The forecast for Fountain Hills includes wind gusts from 25 to 30 miles per hour Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Coupled with warmer temperatures and dry conditions the gusty winds increase the fire danger for the area.

The forecast high temperature in Fountain Hills for Wednesday is 82 degrees.
