Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Sept. 18 through Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Thursday, Sept. 18
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies report a driver accidentally hit the accelerator, and rear-ended another vehicle at a stop light. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Sept. 18 through Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Thursday, Sept. 18
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies report a driver accidentally hit the accelerator, and rear-ended another vehicle at a stop light. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Palatial Drive for criminal speed. According to the report, the driver was traveling 75 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
Friday, Sept. 19
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains for a reported private property hit-and-run traffic collision. Deputies said a driver sideswiped an unoccupied parked vehicle in a parking area. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Indian Wells Drive where it was reported an unknown subject stole items from a parked golf cart.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Center Lane for a mandatory insurance suspended registration. A records check revealed the driver had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Scottsdale. The driver was arrested and turned over to Scottsdale Police to be booked on the warrant.
*A resident of the 17000 block of La Pasada Drive reported an unknown subject used the victim’s Social Security number without permission.
Sunday, Sept. 21
*A resident of the 16000 block of Cholla Drive reported an unknown subject used a fraudulent scheme to defraud the victim out of $800.
Monday Sept. 22
*A resident of the 15000 block of Chicory Drive reported an unknown subject attempted to withdraw $5,000 from the complainant’s bank account, but the request was declined by the bank.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Gloria Lane reported a subject had violated a court order.
Tuesday, Sept. 23
*A resident of the 15000 block of Mustang Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to open an unauthorized account with a cellular provider.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Lariat Lane reported a subject had violated a court order.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Kingstree Boulevard and Regency Drive for criminal speed. According to MCSO the driver was traveling 62 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
Wednesday, Sept. 24
*A resident of the 12000 block of Desert Sage Drive reported an unknown subject used a fraudulent scheme to defraud the victim out of $3,550.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Silverado Drive reported an unknown subject stole the victim’s vehicle from the driveway of a residence. The victim left the vehicle unlocked with the key inside.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Calle Del Oro where a domestic violence fight incident was reported.
