Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Aug. 7, through Wednesday, Aug. 13.
Thursday, Aug. 7
*A resident of the 14000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that a subject agreed to purchase items from the victim that were listed for sale online. The subject took possession of the items but did not pay for the items.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Aug. 7, through Wednesday, Aug. 13.
Thursday, Aug. 7
*A resident of the 14000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that a subject agreed to purchase items from the victim that were listed for sale online. The subject took possession of the items but did not pay for the items.
*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Firebrick Drive for a reported vehicle collision. According to deputies an unknown vehicle struck a shade structure causing a large amount of damage then fled the area without reporting the incident. No injuries were reported.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive for a service request. A records check of a subject involved in the call revealed the subject had an active felony warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant.
Friday, Aug. 8
*Deputies responded to the area of Fountain Hills and Kingstree boulevards for a reported single vehicle traffic collision. Deputies report that the driver fell asleep at the wheel and veered off the roadway striking a street sign and desert plants. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
*Deputies responded to the intersection of Palisades Boulevard and Sunflower Drive for a reported traffic collision. According to MCSO a driver failed to yield from a stop sign and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that unknown subjects stole a large number of wooden pallets from a business.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. for a reported abandoned vehicle. Deputies recovered the vehicle that had been reported stolen and returned it to the victim.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Mustang Drive reported that an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a residence.
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Mountain Pkwy. where it was reported that an unknown subject took a generator from a construction site without permission.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Zane Grey Lane reported a violation of a court order.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains for a reported domestic violence assault. The suspect in the case was arrested and booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Bottlebrush Way where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. The suspect in the case was arrested and booked into jail.
Saturday, Aug. 9
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. Deputies report the driver was traveling 78 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Olympic Way reported a violation of a court order.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Venetian Lane reported a domestic violence assault incident.
*A resident of the 13000 block of Eagle Ridge Drive reported a domestic violence assault incident.
Sunday, Aug. 10
*A resident of the 15000 block of Centipede Drive reported a domestic violence assault incident.
Monday, Aug. 11
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Ibsen Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject stole items from inside an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of a residence.
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Fountain Hills Boulevard at Crystal Point Drive. Deputies report the driver was traveling 62 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 17000 block of Salida Drive reported that an unknown subject sent the victim a letter with a QR code. When scanned by the victim the QR code allowed the subject to steal money out of the victim’s crypto account.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Jackrabbit Lane reported that an unknown subject damaged the mailbox of a residence.
*Deputies made a traffic stop at El Lago and Saguaro boulevards when a driver failed to stop at a stop sign. A records check revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Palisades Boulevard at Lost Hills Drive. According to deputies the driver was traveling 73 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard at Palatial Drive. Deputies report the driver was traveling 82 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies received a report of a violation of a court order.
Wednesday, Aug. 13
*A resident of the 16000 block of Hawk Drive reported that a subject hit a pillar next to the driveway with a vehicle then left the scene without exchanging insurance information or reporting the incident.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Eagle Mountain Pkwy. reported that a subject threatened to have someone kill the victim.
*Deputies received a report of a violation of a court order.
