Weeldreyer prepares for third year at Fountain Hills Middle School

FHMS sees improved scores under coteach model

Dr. Kimberly Weeldreyer didn’t help lead the Grand Canyon University men’s indoor track team to their 2012 national championship overnight.

She spent six seasons as the head men’s and women’s cross country team and three seasons as an assistant track coach before the Antelopes took home the national title. It took time to build up her team, and she said it’s the same as a principal.

Weeldreyer enters her third year as the Fountain Hills Middle School (FHMS) principal and is excited for the new year. She’s seen increasing success with the school’s reteach program and wants to continue growing project-based learning in class.
