Welcome, Sister Cities

We’d like to take this opportunity to welcome all of the weekend visitors taking part in the Sister Cities conference being hosted right here in Fountain Hills.

Fountain Hills is no stranger to the Sister Cities program, with sibling communities established in Dierdorf, Germany; Ataco, El Salvador; Zamosc, Poland; and Kasterlee, Belgium.

Sister Cities is all about finding common ties between cities in the U.S. and across the globe. It makes sense, then, that Arizona Sister Cities programs would also come together for a weekend of learning, idea swapping and fellowship.

Based on the weekend’s agenda, it sounds like everyone has a busy few days ahead of them, complete with a river cruise, a slate of speakers and presentations, as well as tours across town.

To those of you visiting for the weekend, consider yourselves Fountain Hillians. We’re happy to have you join the community, even if it’s only for a short while.
