Fountain Hills did not escape the rainfall brought on by a Pacific weather disturbance crossing the state early Tuesday.

Much of Fountain Hills had received an inch of rainfall by 1:30 p.m. At the detention dam in the North Heights neighborhood 1.26-inch collected in the county Flood Control District rain gauge.

Along McDowell Mountain Road north of town there was .98-inch recorded, and inside McDowell Mountain Park 1.06 was recorded.

Fountain Hills did not escape the rainfall brought on by a Pacific weather disturbance crossing the state early Tuesday.

Much of Fountain Hills had received an inch of rainfall by 1:30 p.m. At the detention dam in the North Heights neighborhood 1.26-inch collected in the county Flood Control District rain gauge.

Along McDowell Mountain Road north of town there was .98-inch recorded, and inside McDowell Mountain Park 1.06 was recorded.

In town the Fire Station at Palisades and Avenue of the Fountains recorded .67-inch. The rain gauge outside The Times office on Laser Drive received about 1.10-inch.

On Asher Hills, just west of the Verde Communities, a county monitoring station received 1.22-inch.

The National Weather Service is keeping the possibility of rain in the forecast for much of the remainder of the week.
