A storm Tuesday afternoon dumped 1.06-inch at a monitoring station in McDowell Mountain Park.

A storm Tuesday afternoon dumped 1.06-inch at a monitoring station in McDowell Mountain Park.
The fire station on Palisades Boulevard received just over half an inch over the two-day period, with .39-inch of that falling roughly between 9 and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Maricopa County Flood Control District rain gauges in Fountain Hills received .78-inch at Sunridge Dam just west of Palisades and El Lago boulevards. The rain gauge at Stoneridge Dam near Fountain Hills Boulevard and Cholla Drive received .67-inch between Tuesday and Thursday morning. There was .55-inch falling in the area of North Heights.
The chance of a locally heavy thunderstorm continues Thursday evening and into Friday.
