The National Weather Service is forecasting rain over much of Arizona through this weekend. The chance of rain for Fountain Hills begins at 40% today increasing to 70% tonight and 80% on Friday with thunderstorms and heavy rain in the forecast.
There is a flash flood watch in effect beginning Friday morning through Saturday night. Rainfall accumulations could approach two inches through the weekend.
The monsoon rain activity continues in the forecast well into next week.

The National Weather Service is forecasting rain over much of Arizona through this weekend. The chance of rain for Fountain Hills begins at 40% today increasing to 70% tonight and 80% on Friday with thunderstorms and heavy rain in the forecast.

The monsoon rain activity continues in the forecast well into next week.
Anyone with a concern about possible flooding and would like some sandbags the Fountain Hills Rural/Metro Fire Department has sand and bags available at Fire Station #1 on Palisades Boulevard at Avenue of the Fountains. People should plan to fill the bags themselves, but firefighters may help if available.
