Fountain Hills residents should be bracing themselves for a particularly wet Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast is calling for rain to begin late Thursday and continue through Friday and on into Saturday.
A special weather statement issued by the Weather Services is stating that between one and two inches of rainfall is possible with this storm on Friday.
The chance of showers will linger into Sunday, with high temperatures forecast in the low to mid 60s through Monday.
The rain and cloudiness will keep overnight lows in the 50s.
