What a shame

The new fountains and upgrades to the Avenue of the Fountains are exciting and will enhance the many activities held there.

But it is a shame to see all that green grass.

What could be the reason for grass in this desert country? The proper use of water for this area should not be to water grass. Let’s use native plants and grasses that showcase the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and not try to have landscaping that does not fit our area.

What a shame

The new fountains and upgrades to the Avenue of the Fountains are exciting and will enhance the many activities held there.

But it is a shame to see all that green grass.

What could be the reason for grass in this desert country? The proper use of water for this area should not be to water grass. Let’s use native plants and grasses that showcase the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and not try to have landscaping that does not fit our area.

It is a sad statement for our community that we don’t think the use of water and conservation of our resources isn’t first in our minds when we plan community development.
