Article 1 of the Bill of Rights guarantees freedom of religion, and that includes Islam. Christians follow the teachings of the Bible, Muslims believe in the Quran and Sharia law. None of their beliefs allow them to break the laws of our country, and deprive people all over the world of their human rights. In all religions there are some people that do not follow all of the teachings.

Some of the Muslim countries believe and enforce the following: no vote for women, no education for women, no driving and jobs for women, and the worse one -- female circumcisions.

Honor killings like the one in Phoenix a while ago a father killed his daughter because she dated someone not of their faith. Millions of Muslims believe in and are involved in Jihad, Holy Wars. They not only kill non-believers of Islam, they also kill other Muslims. Shia against Sunni. In 2009 here in Phoenix four boys age 9-14 raped an 8-year-old girl. Their families came from Liberia, they were Muslims. The girl’s father told the police “take her I don’t want her.” In some Muslim countries they blame the girl for her rape. They call themselves a shame-based culture.

Under Islamic law, rape can only be proven if the rapist confesses or if there are four male witnesses.

I wonder what Ms. Schweers will say about the above “What difference does it make?”

By the way, slave owners never educated their slaves in the building trades. Some slaves may have been used as laborers. She has no understanding of what it took to build America.
