Guided by Dark Skies goals, let us resist yielding to the temptation to create unnecessary and intrusive light noise.
Let us develop for the present needs while preserving for tomorrow a still beautiful, small-town environment. This place is special. We cannot accept bulldozing hills to build what could be built on flat desert.
Let’s respect and support the businesses and neighbors and resist bringing hardship to business profits and property values.
Development fees are not worth bending and stretching our zoning. C1 is C1.
All public servants, paid or volunteering, should have a tattoo, “Ethics First,” for the common good.
The town is all of us. Next week, maybe another reader will make some wholesome suggestions for a happier, healthier community.
